Our Team

Alexander Thomas is an Investment Associate at Pilus Capital, where he focuses on investment analysis, financial modeling, and transaction support across private equity investments.

Prior to joining Pilus Capital, Alexander gained experience in the Corporate Venturing and Venture Capital unit of a large German corporate, contributing to sourcing, investment analysis, and strategic assessments of technology companies. He also worked in Group Strategy, M&A, and Venture Capital at Körber AG, contributing to corporate strategy initiatives, transaction analysis, and investment projects across industrial and technology driven businesses. He further gained management consulting experience at BASF, working within the consulting division on innovation and digitalization projects in a global corporate environment.

Alexander brings a strong analytical foundation and an execution oriented approach to investment decision making, combining rigorous financial analysis with a strong understanding of technology, underlying business models, and their implications for value creation and transaction execution.

Alexander is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Corporate Finance at EDHEC Business School.
