Our Team

Daniel J. Consigli is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pilus Capital. Daniel is a senior finance executive and private equity leader with more than two decades of experience across private equity, financial services, and corporate advisory.

Prior to founding Pilus Capital, Daniel served as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, and Partner at Black Dragon Capital. In this role, he led buy- and sell-side transactions, worked closely with portfolio company management teams at the C-suite level, and built scalable financial, operational, and compliance frameworks to support portfolio growth and institutionalization. Earlier in his career, Daniel held senior finance and operations leadership roles at Luminex Trading & Analytics, IDB Bank, JPMorgan Chase, Pioneer Investments, and Fidelity Investments, developing deep expertise in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, investor relations, and global operating models.

Daniel has advised and led organizations through complex financial, operational, and governance challenges, combining institutional rigor with an operator’s perspective. In recognition of his professional contributions, he was named an Honored Listee in Marquis Who’s Who for the period 2024 to 2029. He previously held a FINRA Series 27 Financial and Operations Principal license, reflecting his background in regulatory oversight and compliance leadership.

Daniel holds an Executive MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Babson College.
